"I'm proud of our student-athletes for understanding the importance of not just excelling on the court, but also excelling off the court and in the classroom," said coach Tanglea Faulkner. "We will continue to demonstrate excellence without excuses in all that we do."

"This is a proud moment for our athletic department, as our volleyball student-athletes are being recognized for their academic excellence. Their achievement sets a high standard for all our athletic programs," said AD Vincent Robinson. "Coach Faulkner and Coach Best have done an outstanding job of holding them accountable both in the classroom and on the court. The leadership and mentorship they provide are invaluable to the student-athletes' growth, not just as players, but as individuals."
