Athletic Mission Statement

The purpose of the mission statement is to outline our purpose or who we are as an organization. The objective of the vision statement is to determine our future destination or where we want to be. The vision statement is the foundation of the strategic plan and will guide all future steps. Future decisions and actions should reflect our vision.

Mission Statement
The mission of intercollegiate athletics at Clinton College is to provide athletic programs that contribute in an effective and meaningful manner to the achievement of the broader goals of the College. The Athletic programs should enhance the total educational experience of students, promote the retention and matriculation of students, advance the reputation of Clinton College, and cultivate loyalty and support of students, alumni and the community at large.

Vision Statement
Clinton College Athletics strives to instill love, passion and pride in all student-athletes. It is also our desire to compete at the highest level in all sports ultimately achieving to be the best in the National Christian College Athletic Association(NCCAA) and within the South region. The athletic department is also committed to the utmost integrity through NCCAA rules compliance, fiscal responsibility and student-athlete personal development. Athletics will provide exceptional value and benefit to the mission of Clinton College and community, demonstrate unrivaled pride and foster relationships with all constituents. Finally, Clinton College Athletics aspire to be a regional center of excellence providing opportunities for advanced academic and athletic experiences, within a caring community, designed to promote success in a global society.
