
ROCK HILL, SC - The Clinton College volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 win over conference rival Paine College at home Monday night. The Lady Bears won by scores of 25-22, 25-19, and 25-21.
Junior OH Sierra Smith led the Bears with an impressive 16 kills and 9 digs hitting .361 with 2 aces and a block. Freshman middle hitter Monica Burns also had a stellar nmight with 8 kills and 0 errors hitting .571 with 2 aces, 2 digs, and 2 blocks.
Freshman setter Sierra Faulkner also had a good night with 36 assists, 5 kills, 6 digs, and 2 aces while junior libero Love Landon and senior DS Ashanti Washington combined for 26 digs and 4 aces. Freshman Keiara Kendall and junior Amoni Washington combned for 11 kills as well.
Clinton improves to 14-11 on the season while dropping Paine to 7-8. The Bears will finish up their regular season on Wednesday when they host Div. II Benedict College at 6 pm.
