Kourtney English, a senior and team captain on the women's basketball team at Clinton College, has been named the Female Student Athlete of the Month for December.

With impressive season averages of 7.5 points and nearly 8 rebounds per game, Kourtney continues to lead her team both on and off the court. One of her standout performances came on December 12th, when she recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds against Columbia International University.

Off the court, Kourtney enjoys trolling people for fun and finds inspiration in her mom, who has always been by her side and made countless sacrifices for her success. Her favorite movie star is Paul Walker, and the song that gets her hyped before a game is Goals by YoungBoy. A fan of BBQ Meatballs, Kourtney would love to have dinner with Bernie Mac, imagining endless jokes and laughter at the table.

Kourtney's journey to Clinton College was shaped by Coach Toland, who gave her a chance after she didn't make tryouts at her previous school. Since then, she has cherished bonding with her teammates and recalls winning their first home game as her best athletic moment. Looking ahead, Kourtney aims to enter the Air Force and pursue a master's degree, continuing to build on the dedication and drive that define her time at Clinton College.
