
ROCK HILL, SC - The Clinton College men rolled to a 95-72 victory over USCAA foe, Mid-Atlantic Christian at home Saturday evening to improve to 4-1 on the season.
The Golden Bears honored their 2023-24 South Region 18-win Championship team prior to the game when they received their Champ Rings.
Clinton was led by a balanced scoring attack with three Bears finishing in double-figure scoring led by junior wing Isaiah Borders with 18 points on 6 of 9 shooting and a team-best 7 rebounds. He also added 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block in the win while sophomore guard Jordan Snipes Campbell finished with 16 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Forward Cori Miller posted 15 points as well with 6 boards, 4 assists and a steal.
Guard Jordan Miller recorded 9 points with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block while junior center Devinir Garvey also finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Off the bench, the guard duo of Karter Allen and Jordan Maxwell combined for 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 6 assists as the team shot 57 percent from the floor and 35 percent from three.
The Bears pulled away late in the first half to take a 48-36 halftime edge before outscoring the Mustangs 47-36 in the second half.
The Clinton men will return right back to action Monday night as they take on NCCAA foe, Trinity Baptist at 8:00 pm in Jacksonville, FL.
