Greenville, S.C. - The NCCAA All-American honors for Division I Men's Basketball have been announced for the 2023-24 season.
Cam Shannon makes NCCAA All-American 2nd team as well as being named South Region Player of the Year. He helped lead the Golden Bears (18-11) to the South Region Championship and an NCCAA National Tournament berth where they went 1-2 to finish in 4th place and 10th in the final rankings.
He averaged 22.5 points over 28 games shooting over 57 percent from the floor and 42 percent from three-point range. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds/game and 3.1 assists/game. Shannon recorded two 40-point games on the season and a career high of 44 points in the win over Wilberforce in February.
Shannon finished with over 1,000 career points as did teammate Paul Eromosele. He averaged 9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on the season.
