WINONA LAKE, IN - The 2024 NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship will be hosted by Grace College in Winona Lake, IN and will feature the top 8 teams from around the country in NCCAA D-1.

No. 5 seed Clinton makes its 2nd consecutive appearance at the NCCAA Men's Basketball Championship on Wednesday with a quarterfinal matchup against the #4 seed Roberts Wesleyan (13-13) of Rochester, NY.

Game time at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on the campus of Grace College is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. EDT.

The Clinton College Golden Bears qualified by winning the South Region last week defeating Fort Lauderdale and Paine College by double digits on consecutive days from the Rock Hill Sports Center.

The Bears, 17-9, who were given the 5th seed in the tournament, will face RWU for the first time in school history in the third quarterfinal of the day.

Clinton was the #3 seed and national runner-up last season in the NCCAA after going 23-3 overall including wins over #6 Asbury and #2 Ft. Lauderdale before falling to Bethel 78-72 in the finals. They are led this season by coach Cory Sloan and South Region Player of the Year Cam Shannon. Shannon, a senior guard, averaged 23.1 points/game this season while shooting 42 percent from three along with averaging 7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.3 steals/game. Senior forward Isaiah Stone is also having a nice season averaging 15 points and 9 rebounds/game and 1.3 blocks.
