
The Clinton College Esports team and head coach Kendra Smith competed in the first round of NBA2K playoffs losing to the Southern University at Baton Rouge (La.). This is the first time the team has made it to the playoffs in the Cxmmunity League. The team consisted of Jeffery Rainey, Taylan Hicks, and Breon Crockett.
Clinton is currently competing in the Call of Duty Tournament. They are currently 0-1 with their next match on December 17. The team consists of Hicks, Rainey, Isaiah Slade and Crockett.
The Golden Bears also participated in the Rocket League for the first time this season. Players were Khawayne Gordon and Elijah Brown but unfortunately did not make the playoffs.
The Esports team is now currently participating in the NFL HBCU Tournament. This Tournament is campus-wide and the students do not have to be on the ESports team to compete.
