Clinton Athletic Squads Combine for 3.0 GPA in Spring Semester

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Clinton College athletic department and Director of Athletics, Vincent D. Robinson has announced that the Athletic Department's GPA for the 2025 Spring semester was 3.07!

"I am incredibly proud of our coaches for their diligence, resilience, and dedication to our student-athletes that made this achievement possible," said AD Robinson. "The countless hours you've devoted by holding our athletes accountable through class check-ups, study hall, and academic meetings have played a vital role in our student-athlete's success not only on the court but more importantly in the classroom."

"Our student athletes have fully embraced what it means to be true student-athletes, and their academic achievements are a shining reflection of their hard work and commitment."

The Lady Golden Bear Volleyball team achieved a team cumulative GPA of 3.55 to lead CC Athletics while the JV Women's Basketball team tallied a 3.3 GPA. Also finishing with at least a 3.0 GPA were the Cheer team, the Women's Basketball varsity squad and the Men's Basketball team.
