Coach Cheek is from Brooklyn, New York. Looking forward to what he brings to the team this season. Having Cheek will enable us to advance. He is a fantastic player development coach and can drive athletes to the pinnacle of their game on both a mental and physical level. He has the ability to read the game & make adjustments on the fly.

 Before arriving at Clinton College. Jamir Cheek went to Wiley College HBCU where he earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and finished fourth all-time in assists as a player. He also had an outstanding junior college career At Genesee Community College, where he averaged 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists,. obtaining a First Team All Region accolade and three NJCAA Player of the Week honors.

 Coach Cheek working alongside Head Coach Sloan following a successful campaign in their first year, they gain enough wisdom that will help them in this upcoming season & hopefully get back to the promise land.
